Steffans Legal Files Wage and Hour Class Action on Behalf of Friendly's Employees

On December 5, 2022 Steffans Legal, along with Sommers Schwarz P.C. filed a wage and hour class action against DFA Dairy Brands Ice Cream, LLC d/b/a Friendly’s Ice Cream on behalf of the employees working at the Friendly’s facility located in Wilbraham, Massachusetts. In this action, we allege that the employer violated the Massachusetts Wage Act by not paying its employees for time spent donning and doffing protective equipment and for not including shift premiums into its calculation of overtime rates. This case is currently pending in the Superior Court in Hampden County.
