Steffans Legal Files Second Wage and Hour Class Action on Behalf of UTS of Massachusetts Employees

On December 19, 2022 Steffans Legal, along with Fair Work P.C., filed a wage and hour class action against UTS of Mass, Inc., relative to the payment of hours worked. Massachusetts law requires employers to pay overtime-eligible employees time-and-a-half for all hours worked in a workweek. In this case, we allege that the employer failed to pay all overtime hours at time-and-a-half, in violation of M.G.L. ch. 151 s. 1A, M.G.L. ch. 151 s 1B, and M.G.L. ch. 149 s 148. This case is pending in Middlesex County Superior Court.
